now | oldies | me | host | design it's been good! thursday, 13 nov i was confused for a moment.. what? kate spade... on tv? (although i'm a fan of her stuffs, i don't know what she looks like... hurhur) kate spade... in the papers? confused. until it hit me! my FIRST kate spade bag has arrived! okaylah, so i didn't wait for the kate spade tabung to be full before i bought one - but then i wanted to treat myself for winning THAT award. more later. neewho, here it is.. it's nautical-inspired... and it's in stripes! : )  righty ho - first task - find clothes that match the bag for tomorrow. hehehee.
so yah... i was the recipient of the outstanding contribution award for 2008. the girls won awards too.. but chiewch has the pics. i will elaborate more when she passes me the pics. the husband was not around though. more later.
so, he was coming back tonight. yeah. took leave from tuition, which was a good choice because i was exhausted! but the mother wanted to go hospital to visit cik simah. i was trying to wheedle my way out and said that if we went tomorrow, there will be transport aka the husband. and then hakieym (cik simah's son) called and said that she was discharged. and to visit at home instead. i was still telling mom to go tomorrow. and then cik ya called and asked whether we wanted to go today. and i had a eureka moment - why don't cik ya drive our car, and cik sukor (cik ya's husband) can drive theirs? they agreed. and cik sid came along. and we went to visit cik simah. the whole ging-gang visiting like it's hari raya. haha. are you confused yet? : ) anyways, at cik simah's house, cik ya asked what time the husband was coming back. and she asked if we wanted to pick him up so then we can eat at popeye's. woo hoo! such a surprise for the husband! little did i know... anyways, after much difficulty, found the husband's flight, had popeye's and was waiting for him. and then we saw him walking towards baggage carousel. thought he saw me when i waved, cos hey, i was wearing a bright orange top. but it turned out he didn't. damn my height! so.. hid and waited for him to come out. and he finally did. and i was smiling. and then i saw it... bright green, stripes and HUGE...  and there was thirty-year old me - JUMPING UP AND DOWN and saying, "kate spade! kate spade!" i didn't even hug him welcome. peh. even hariz was shocked. and i had recollections of those people carrying those cards with names sniggering at me or the husband, i don't know. hehe.  so... well, told the husband to get me one thing for every day that he missed me. and instead of getting me 5, he got me a huge one. heheheh...
 apparently the sister was involved in the selection of this bag. and she didn't even tell me. peh. the two of them!! hehehehe....
